You’re an exceptional mother.
You’re also an extraordinary woman.
Motherhood asks more of you physically, mentally, emotionally than you ever expected, but you don’t have to do it alone.
I help mothers reconnect with who they are, rebuild their confidence, and make space for themselves within motherhood.
You’re not alone
I've learned that it’s completely natural (but no less maddening) to hold two conflicting feelings at the same time:
To love your children fiercely, but resent the relentlessness of the role.
To long for something more, but feel guilt for wanting it.
To know you're a capable mother, but never feel good enough.
To feel like your world has shrunk, but feel you should be grateful.
To want space for yourself, but not want to miss a thing.
To feel like you're drowning, but not want to ask for help.
If any of that sounds familiar, I want you to know, you are not alone in those feelings.
I understand how becoming a mother can feel like it’s quietly dampened your personality and your sense of self, to the point where the woman you see, hear and feel now is almost unrecognisable from who you were.
This transition has a name: Matrescence.
Hi, I’m Faye
I'm a London-based certified life coach, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), with specialist training in positive psychology and confidence coaching.
I'm also a mother of two, so I understand from the inside what it means to love mothering completely and still feel yourself slowly disappearing inside the role of motherhood.
Navigating my own experience of identity loss and slowly reclaiming myself is what brought me to this work. I know how powerful it is to make that journey, and the importance of knowing that you don't have to make it alone.
You're not lost, lovely. You just need reminding of who you are.
